man purse

Man purses in public are not cool. Not cool at all. Some things can only be pulled off by a woman. It's what make us different. Like how some birds have different coloured feathers between the genders to avoid embarrassing mistakes.

My dad carried around a man style clutch for a year. I'm glad he had co-workers who I imagine teased him until he gave the thing up. Thank god he didn't jump on that short lived man-skirt that was also being thrust upon north american men in the mid 1990s.

If you are a man and need to carry a bunch of stuff, but not enough for a backpack, why not get an old military satchel like Indiana Jones had. No one would call that a man purse.

Ah, the murse. I travel with a friend who never goes anywhere without the murse.

It is handy, though. He can hold my lipstick & tylenol.

Hey Pamplemousse!
Good one!

You're right. I have teased my uncled for nearly a decade about the rather femminine clutch (think leather wash bag) bag he never ceases to carry around.
Also what about those guys using briefcases on rollers? I can understand suitcases on rollers etc; but briefcases??! Carry it man! For heavens sake!

Yeah, I agree about the briefcases on rollers. The worst was at college watching all these able bodied kids unable to carry their own school bags.

pathetic.

Wha? When was there ever a man skirt? I want photographic proof and it better not be from India or any other warm climate where the traditional clothing for men happens to be a tunic like garment.

you'll see this sorta thing in my house... my brothers are so damn particular even about their clothes, they wont touch any shade which 'might' appear feminine! no pink or red shirts for them, forget murses!

but nice piece!

Why do some men feel so insecure about man bags? people in europe been using this for ages, and nobody is less of a man for carrying one... I'm surprised of a Canadian, I would've expected this from an american...
My father used one all his life, never stopped being a man...

i carry a murse sometimes, but like you suggest it's more of a satchel. the strap goes across my chest, i don't wear it under my arm like this dude ...
